The third workshop of the project „Improving skills in laboratory practice for agro-food specialists in eastern Europe” was organized on December 4-7, 2018.
SAUM was represented at this meeting by Liviu Volconovici, Rector of the University, Elena Scripnic, Vice Rector for International Relations, National Coordinator of the project and Larisa Caisin member of the project. The national and international partners of the project were present at the workshop. During the workshops, topics were discussed with reference to the Identification of falsification of dairy products (physical and chemical methods), detection of the fatty acid composition of the fatty part of the product, Identification of authenticity and falsification of wines, juices, honey and other foodstuffs by nuclear magnetic resonance method, Methods of mycotoxines detection in grains, hazelnuts and other crops: ELIZA, LC/MS-MS, etc.
The partners presented the report on the project activity during July-December, 2018. Project Coordinator Marja Klopcic proposed the program of the project activity for the next six months.
Project members had the opportunity to visit veterinary laboratories in Lvov city.
